Jordan actually loved all the presurgery stuff. They gave him bubbles to keep him preoccupied.

He liked his Hospital Pajamas and playing with the toys before going back.

They allowed us to hold Jordan while they sedated him. It calmed a lot of our fears. He is a pretty attached child and we were worried he would scream through it. He got a cherry flavored mask and we talked about riding motorcycles to keep him calm. He even reminded me you always wear a helmet.
Waking up was not so fun. We were told that Dental Surgery is often the most nauseating surgery because of all the blood and fluids that can get to the stomach during surgery. Before going home, you have to keep down 4 oz of fluid. After 4 hours and an extra dosage of anti-nausea meds they couldn't do anything more and sent us home anyway with strong warnings about dehydration.

The rest of the night was spent watching movies and cuddling with Mom and Dad. Then it was off to bed with nothing to eat.
At 6:00 am Jordan was fine. He started juming on the bed and asking if he could go out and play in the sprinklers.

Great news!!!
Jamie, you are an amazing blogger! This really helped us in seeing what went on, as well as hearing how it went. We loved that he had Skippy with him through it all!
